XL+ 6: dvLED panel at 6.67 mm pixel pitch
XL+ 6 is an outdoor series: sealed cabinets and daylight brightness for facades, stadiums and digital out of home. 4 product options in SMD, cabinet 960 × 960 mm or 1440 × 960 mm, 10,000 nits. Every option is driven by the ERMAC control system and calibrated as one system in Kassel, Germany.
Surface technology SMD, Surface mount device: Individual red, green and blue LEDs placed onto the board. The most mature way to build a dvLED wall. Best for: Outdoor and daylight, large formats, curved and flexible builds, and projects where value per square metre leads.
Rule of thumb for the viewing distance: the minimal distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, so XL+ 6 looks sharp from about 6.67 m. One cabinet carries 144 × 144 pixels, is 102 mm deep and weighs 28 kg. Processing runs at 26 bit, frame rates up to 120 Hz, refresh rate 7680 Hz.

From what viewing distance does XL+ 6 look sharp?
From about 6.67 meters. Rule of thumb: the minimal viewing distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, which is 6.67 mm for XL+ 6. Where people step close and the pixels have to disappear completely, plan about three times that distance.
Which XL+ 6 product option fits my project?
The 4 options differ in surface technology (SMD), brightness, coating and cabinet. The display designer filters them by your requirements, or tell us the room and we recommend the option.
Which control system drives XL+ 6?
ERMAC, TRUE Performance's own control system, developed and built in Germany. Panel logic and control system are calibrated as one system, which is why the color holds across the whole dvLED wall. On request we also deliver XL+ 6 with solutions built on NovaStar or Colorlight.
