XF+ 1.2: dvLED panel at 1.25 mm pixel pitch
XF+ 1.2 is the fixed installation series: a flat cabinet built to sit in a wall, for studios, boardrooms, control rooms and lobbies. 17 product options in COB, MIP, SMD FC (MIP Premium), SMD FC (GOB), SMD FC and SMD, cabinet 600 × 337.5 mm or 480 × 480 mm, 600 to 2,500 nits. Every option is driven by the ERMAC control system and calibrated as one system in Kassel, Germany.
Surface technology COB, Chip on board: The bare LED dies are mounted straight onto the board and sealed under a single smooth resin surface. Best for: The finest pitches, any room where contrast decides the shot, and floors when a load bearing cover sits over the modules. Surface technology MIP & SMD FC, Micro LED in package, and flip chip surface mount: Two routes to fine pitch that keep the advantage of a finished, measurable package. Best for: Colour critical rooms that also need serviceability, and long lived installations where batch to batch consistency matters. Surface technology SMD, Surface mount device: Individual red, green and blue LEDs placed onto the board. The most mature way to build a dvLED wall. Best for: Outdoor and daylight, large formats, curved and flexible builds, and projects where value per square metre leads.
Rule of thumb for the viewing distance: the minimal distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, so XF+ 1.2 looks sharp from about 1.25 m. One cabinet carries 480 × 270 pixels, is 28 mm deep and weighs 4.7 kg. Processing runs at 26 bit, frame rates up to 240 Hz, refresh rate 3840 / 7680 Hz.
11 options carry a protective coating over the LEDs, the others are uncoated. Every product option has a technical spec sheet as PDF. Pricing is per project: pick the option in the display designer and our engineers come back with layout, control system and quote.

From what viewing distance does XF+ 1.2 look sharp?
From about 1.25 meters. Rule of thumb: the minimal viewing distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, which is 1.25 mm for XF+ 1.2. Where people step close and the pixels have to disappear completely, plan about three times that distance.
Which XF+ 1.2 product option fits my project?
The 17 options differ in surface technology (COB, MIP, SMD FC (MIP Premium), SMD FC (GOB), SMD FC and SMD), brightness, coating and cabinet. The display designer filters them by your requirements, or tell us the room and we recommend the option.
Which control system drives XF+ 1.2?
ERMAC, TRUE Performance's own control system, developed and built in Germany. Panel logic and control system are calibrated as one system, which is why the color holds across the whole dvLED wall. On request we also deliver XF+ 1.2 with solutions built on NovaStar or Colorlight.
