XF+ 2.5 flex: dvLED panel at 2.5 mm pixel pitch
XF+ 2.5 flex is a flexible series: modules that bend to a radius, for curves, cylinders, columns and free forms. 8 product options in SMD FC (MIP Premium), MIP and SMD, cabinet 300 × 675 mm, 800 to 1,000 nits. Every option is driven by the ERMAC control system and calibrated as one system in Kassel, Germany.
Surface technology MIP & SMD FC, Micro LED in package, and flip chip surface mount: Two routes to fine pitch that keep the advantage of a finished, measurable package. Best for: Colour critical rooms that also need serviceability, and long lived installations where batch to batch consistency matters. Surface technology SMD, Surface mount device: Individual red, green and blue LEDs placed onto the board. The most mature way to build a dvLED wall. Best for: Outdoor and daylight, large formats, curved and flexible builds, and projects where value per square metre leads.
Rule of thumb for the viewing distance: the minimal distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, so XF+ 2.5 flex looks sharp from about 2.5 m. One cabinet carries 120 × 256 pixels, is 58 mm deep and weighs 7 kg. Processing runs at 26 bit, frame rates up to 60 Hz, refresh rate 7680 / 3840 Hz.
4 options carry a protective coating over the LEDs, the others are uncoated. Every product option has a technical spec sheet as PDF. Pricing is per project: pick the option in the display designer and our engineers come back with layout, control system and quote.

From what viewing distance does XF+ 2.5 flex look sharp?
From about 2.5 meters. Rule of thumb: the minimal viewing distance in meters equals the pixel pitch in millimeters, which is 2.5 mm for XF+ 2.5 flex. Where people step close and the pixels have to disappear completely, plan about three times that distance.
Which XF+ 2.5 flex product option fits my project?
The 8 options differ in surface technology (SMD FC (MIP Premium), MIP and SMD), brightness, coating and cabinet. The display designer filters them by your requirements, or tell us the room and we recommend the option.
Which control system drives XF+ 2.5 flex?
ERMAC, TRUE Performance's own control system, developed and built in Germany. Panel logic and control system are calibrated as one system, which is why the color holds across the whole dvLED wall. On request we also deliver XF+ 2.5 flex with solutions built on NovaStar or Colorlight.
